Gardening Tools and Supplies

We offer hand tools for novice as well as experienced gardeners to handle a range of gardening tasks.  Assortment of earth-friendly soil amendments, organic fertilizers, and pest-control remedies in convenient sizes are in stock to suite your needs.  And an array of pottery is available to create a unifying theme for your garden.  Accents for the gardens such as fountains and statuary are also available.

Skagit_GardenSeasonal Produce and Cut Flowers

We follow sustainable and ecologically-sound practices to grow our produce.  We also partner with small local farms to bring you the healthiest and freshest produce available from Skagit Valley.  Although we do offer veggie starts as early as March and April, the harvest calendar for fresh produce typically does not begin until mid-May.  And the harvest would typical wind down by mid-October, for a five-month season.  We are experimenting with season-extending techniques in hope to bring you year-round produce in the near future.  Similarly, we intend to broaden the varieties and availability of U-pick produce to better serve your needs.

Display Gardens and Farm Tours

We have planted many choice varieties of our landscape plants around the market stand, in front of the parking lot, and as hedgerows along the property line and the slough in the back.  These planting arrangements form pockets of display gardens.  Formal gardens are being constructed to provide the sites for country-living exhibits scheduled throughout the year.  We also offer self-guided farm tours, to allow you to observe how your food is grown and experience the country living in fun, family-friendly environment.
